as Chief Operating Officer
LCB Senior Living, LLC, New England’s fastest-growing developer and operator of distinctive Independent, Assisted and Memory Care communities for seniors, has announce that Jason P. Kohler has joined the company as its Chief Operating Officer. In this newly-created position, Mr. Kohler will oversee LCB operations as it continues the ongoing steady growth path in the Northeast, that began in Massachusetts, and has continued across five New England states, and into New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Most recently, Mr. Kohler was Vice President and Senior Director of Operations at Life Care Services in Atlanta, GA, where he oversaw the success of the company’s 42-community rental portfolio, and helped fuel a period of steady expansion. Over the course of his career, Mr. Kohler has touched nearly every aspect of the industry, participating in every phase of operations, sales and personnel management while also contributing to development and acquisitions, planning and optimizing enterprise business systems, affecting policy and procedures, among his many accomplishments.
In addition, Mr. Kohler is President of the Georgia Senior Living Association, earned an MBA from the University of Baltimore, and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida.
“We could not be more thrilled to welcome Jason to LCB’s management team,” said CEO Michael A. Stoller. “When you consider the operations strength that we already possess, bringing on someone of his caliber and experience puts LCB in terrific position to take advantage of the opportunities before us.”
In commenting on his new position at LCB, Mr. Kohler said: “I’m truly excited about joining the LCB team. The company’s solid operating platform, stable leadership, warm and friendly culture, and clear strategic direction positions us well for continued growth and success.”
Established in 2011, LCB owns and operates 16 communities throughout Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The company has four communities under construction, will be starting construction on its first entry into the greater Philadelphia market late this year, and is at various stages of permitting on several others in New England and down the eastern seaboard. All of LCB’s buildings provide high end services to the senior housing market, and offer residents the highest-quality amenities, with luxurious settings and finishes. LCB communities feature Independent, Assisted and Reflections Memory Care services, along with “Anytime Dining” (allowing residents to eat what the like, when they want it, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.), copious amounts of common area (libraries, living rooms, country kitchens, bistros, theaters, etc.), and a breadth of other amenities. In addition, all communities feature a very active engagement calendar, offering intellectual, cultural, recreational and social opportunities, seven days per week.
