Reflections Memory Care
A mindful and non-pharmacological approach to promoting dignity and quality of life for older adults with memory challenges, through compassionate care and a focus on the person, not the disease.
Our Reflections Memory Care program strives to engage residents in meaningful, therapeutic activities focusing on their strengths and capabilities. It is a highly structured and effective clinical approach that feels anything but “clinical” to the resident. The goal of the Reflections program is for each resident to maintain a positive emotional state by feeling unrestricted by their limitations, and by celebrating their strengths.
It also benefits from our partnership with Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
All Reflections residents benefit from our specially-trained interdisciplinary staff which includes licensed nurses to administer medications (Limited Medication Administration or LMA).
Featuring the Habilitation model pioneered by the Massachusetts chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, we create opportunities for residents to experience success throughout the day, and to maintain optimal emotional and cognitive health.
Our professional staff understands the complex needs of you and your loved ones, and provides a range of services in a specialized, separate environment that includes a dining room, sunny sitting and exercise areas, a secured, outdoor recreation area, and other amenities. Let us work with you to create an individualized plan to ensure an active and dignified lifestyle.
