Our Reflections Memory Care program follows a philosophy that promotes dignity and quality of life through compassionate care and a focus on the person, not the disease.
Reflections creates daily opportunities for residents to experience success, joy and connection with other people. This is accomplished through a variety of therapies, including music and art, cooking, cognitive and sensory exercises and a number of other techniques. In doing so, we create life experiences and events rather than merely providing “activities.”
Distinguished by its Four Pillars of Engagement, Reflections connects with the whole person through Physical, Social, Cognitive, and Emotional experiences. Connecting with people who are living with dementia across these four dimensions has been proven to generate many positive outcomes, including increased overall engagement with life, reduced confusion and a focus on the person’s abilities. A multifaceted approach to interaction can help slow or even reverse the progression of some signs and symptoms of dementia.
All associates in our community are NIDE-certified dementia professionals who understand the complex needs of your loved one, and provide a range of services in a specialized, secure neighborhood.
