Costs
When deciding on a senior living option, there are many things that contribute to the value you receive for your monthly rent. My husband & I came to visit a dear friend to celebrate ?? her birthday. ?? The staff was kind, caring & compassionate. ?? It is such a good feeling to know that our friend is surrounded by professionals devoted to providing quality care. Everyone we encountered took pride in their role. The facility is clean & comfortable. There are numerous activities for the residents. Thank you for everything you do to create an uplifting atmosphere.
The Lighthouse is a very organized place with amazing staff members who show true passion and care towards the residents. Your work is always recognized.
The staff are great with your loved ones. The services provided in house are amazing. While the activities daily keep them busy and active. While still being able to live their own style of life they are closely monitored based on their level of needed help. Management is very nice and helpful when asking questions and if the answers are not clear they take the extra steps to find the desired answer.
Very clean community with a fantastic atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and inviting. You can tell the staff really take pride in their work. I highly recommend Lighthouse at Lincoln to anyone looking for memory care.
My family and are so happy that our family member is so well taken care of here at Lighthouse. I can’t say enough about how pleased we are with the care all of the residents receive. The staff is engaging and very compassionate with the residents and their families.
Our brother has been at Lighthouse for two years. He is only 65 and has early onset Alzheimer’s. He is in the late stages of the disease having been diagnosed at 57
Lighthouse has cared and loved our brother from the moment he walked in. The love shown to him comes from caregivers and beyond. Admin staff, dietary, maintenance- the receptionist!!! All showing love and care for our brother and for all of us.
We know our time here is waning- but we will always appreciate what Lighthouse at Lincoln has provided for our brother, for his entire family.

The level of care in this Memory Care Community is exceptional. The utmost of consideration is given on all
levels , from the lovely people that greet you at the front door to the RNs , CNAs , staff ….ultimately to the very competent and hands on Executive Director, Lynn D. Whenever I have a concern, I get an answer right away and they are always there for not only the resident but also for the family. I could not have made a better decision.

Overall, what has made it such a great experience so far is I think it comes down to their care and their empathy. The facility, food is great, but, it is the care they give my Dad, that we really appreciate. They know how to manage his behaviors and needs. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

One of the cleanest ALZ buildings I've been to! Friendly staff and great engagement activities provide a great experience for residents and their families. They have monthly educational events that are open to the public! Be sure to give them a call or check them out when considering finding a home for your loved one.

The Lighthouse at Lincoln is very good. They have excellent care. It's a small community. So, it's meeting my mother's needs and they've taken good care of her. The building is new. It has four separate units. So everybody isn't together in one unit, which makes it more personal. The layout and the way they provide care and activities are very good. The staff has all been very good. They all know enough and have been educated in taking care of someone with memory care issues, and they are excellent at that.
The meals have been excellent, too. They have a chef that prepares all the food. They have exercise, they have farm animals come in, and they have live music where people come in and sing and play the guitar. They had a harpist come in for the holidays. They have so many activities. Then they do different other activities like making crafts for the holidays. They made all different things. It's just beautiful.
My Mom needed a safe place to live after her stroke, initially we found Atria in Barrington. Mom was left like a piece of furniture, they did nothing with the residents on their memory care unit. When we reported a serious safety concern as a necessary piece of safety equipment was removed from her room, they did absolutely nothing about it for hours. We moved her to the Lighthouse and couldn't be more happy with the staff and facility. They are all kind and caring and Mom is so much more content in her current life situation.
Update July 2023: Still very happy with The lighthouse. After 1.5 years we have no complaints.

In todays market it is a fair price for the service. The Lighthouse at Lincoln community is very clean and the staff takes good care of the patients. They are also very accommodating to the families.
After visiting several memory care facilities and trying to find the facility that best fits our relative’s needs, we decided on the Lighthouse at Lincoln. From the day we moved into the Lighthouse, we knew we had made the right decision. As soon as you step through the doors, you are greeted with a warm welcome and bright, cheery faces from the staff, especially our friends at the front desk: Mary, Judy, and Hunter. The facility is absolutely beautiful and kept very clean. All of the residents are well taken care of, and encouraged to participate in various activities, exercise programs, and trips outside to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
I want to thank the entire staff for the amazing care they provide every single day. It's important to extend a special thank you to Carla, Charlotte, Jennifer, Lindsey, and Sherry who go above and beyond in our loved one's plan of care. We also want to acknowledge the Director, Lynn, and the Resident Care Director, Diane, who both work tirelessly to ensure the needs of the residents are being met. It’s so hard to name specific staff members because they truly are all wonderful. The nursing staff consistently keeps us updated on how our relative is doing and involves us in the daily routine. They are an incredible group of people that deeply care for the residents with compassion, empathy, patience and kindness. What we imagined was going to be a difficult transition, ended up being one of the best decisions we ever made. The Lighthouse has become our relative’s new home, and the entire staff has become family. Words cannot express our gratitude.

Staff at The Lighthouse is attentive, pleasant, capable. They get answers to questions if they don’t already know. They know the residents and accommodate their idiosyncrasies with kindness. The facility is clean, very pleasant, well-maintained. The activities staff works hard to plan appropriate activities for different levels, engage residents and include families. There is a nice sense of community. The staff is very attentive to families’ concerns/suggestions at quarterly care plan meetings and open to questions always. The Lighthouse cares all the way around about all details.
This facility is top notch. The staff is accommodating in every way. My mother is safe, well looked after, and occupied with activities when she chooses to participate. Kudos to all the staff for positive attitudes and caring interactions with my mother.

Exceptional Team! The staff is so dedicated to their jobs and their mission to care for the residents.
I recently toured this community for my Mother. I was incredibly impressed with the passion that showed with the CNA’s interacting with the residents. I also observed an exercise class called Barre and Balance. Never seen this program done before and saw how much fun the residents were having. This community definitely left a lasting impression.
I have the pleasure of going to the Lighthouse several times a week as a Physical Therapist. I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of the staff and can attest to their caring nature. The entire staff makes sure to get to know the residents and make them feel at home. As a physical therapist I am happy to see the activity staff engage the residents in a variety of different exercises, including chair yoga and barre and balance class. These activities help to keep the residents active and engaged, which is wonderful to witness firsthand.
The Lighthouse at Lincoln is committed to providing excellent care. The associates are very friendly & make everyone feel right at home. The building is clean & well cared for. I would be happy to recommend the Lighthouse to anyone!
My late spouse resided at The Lighthouse at Lincoln a few years ago. The team really left a lasting impression, paying special attention to even the littlest details and going above and beyond with all of their services. I felt that the staff genuinely cared for my husband, which was extremely comforting, and they were like a second family. I'd absolutely recommend this facility to anyone!

The Lighthouse is clean, well run building, with friendly, caring staff. The activities, and dining programs are specifically designed to have the most impact for residents with memory impairment. The building features many secure outdoor recreation spaces.
I’ve been working at The Lighthouse at Lincoln for 4 years now. It is such a nice place to work. Between my coworkers and residents this place feels like a second home. I really enjoy going to work and being able to put a smile on people’s faces. Cause laughter is the best medicine.
