are enriched by diversity, and all of the things that make you distinctly you!

Costs

When deciding on a senior living option, there are many things that contribute to the value you receive for your monthly rent. Our staffing ratios are higher than a typical senior living community to ensure that your loved one receives the specialized attention that they require in their daily life. While there are tangible benefits such as a private apartment, three chef-prepared meals per day, transportation, daily engagement activities, 24-hour staffing & security and more, there are many less tangible but highly valuable aspects as well.

Great Care is Our Hallmark!

We specialize in providing expert care services. From support with activities of daily living (ADL) such as walking escorts, bathing, dressing or toileting, to more extensive needs, we tailor care to each individual to make life easier and more fulfilling.

  • Personalized care plans to meet daily needs
  • Medication management and administration
  • Crushed medications
  • Oxygen assistance
  • Support and coordination of advanced care needs (with third parties)
  • All associates certified by the National Institute for Dementia Education (NIDE)
  • A continuum of care to meet evolving needs
  • And more!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My dad moved to The Lighthouse at Lincoln, and the staff was friendly the day we went there. We got to sit and see a couple of the activities, and the girls were phenomenal with the residents. While doing the activities, the other CNAs would say, "Come on, let's go to the bathroom. Let's do this." They were nonstop taking care of them. His apartment has enough room for his bed, a nightstand, a reclining chair, and a full walk-in closet. The bathrooms are big enough, and he's on a cane, but you could use a walker, and it has a walk-in shower with a seat. They clean all day. If you see something wrong, they are there within 30 seconds to fix it. I tried the food, and it wasn't bad. My father loves it. They go around, and they give you two choices. If, for some reason, the person does not like that, they have other alternatives, and the cook is in the back, he'll cook it right up for you. They are good.

All the staff was wonderful. I knew they truly cared for [name removed]. It is sort of hard for me since I lost [name removed]It was a year in Feb. I miss him so much. He had to be moved From lighthouse. With this disease agitation comes and goes. Unfortunately he hit a nurse. The law says he had to be moved to a Geri/psyche hospital. Lighthouse wanted him back as soon as the meds were regulated. Unfortunately within 24?hours of being moved he lost the ability to walk and feed himself. He never went back to Lighthouse. If there was a way he would have been there. That shows how caring they were.

I am typically not a person that writes reviews. I hardly ever read reviews. However, in this case I feel I should write a review for The Lighthouse at Lincoln. My wife has been a resident at The Lighthouse at Lincoln for a year now. She has received exceptional care and is very comfortable at the facility. The staff is so caring and attentive to all her needs. There is nothing harder than having to place your loved one in a memory care facility. In my case I held out for as long as I physically could before placing her in a memory facility. The first day you leave your loved one is very hard. You are never sure you have made the right decision. The staff at The Lighthouse at Lincoln made me feel very comfortable leaving my wife. They communicated with me that day as to how she was doing and for the next few days before I went back to visit her. The staff communicates on how my wife is doing with every visit. They are also concerned as to how I am doing. The most important part of leaving your loved one at a memory facility is how you as the caregiver feel. After a visit I feel very relieved knowing my wife is safe and well taken care of at The Lighthouse at Lincoln. Gary H

Both my parents were here together for several months. Different kinds of dementia - mom with Alzheimer’s and Dad with Lewy Bodies Dementia. Dad was a handful as is expected with LBD yet the staff was always working to keep him calm, redirecting when needed and supporting his ‘fantasy world’ safely. Mom is still there and very well cared for. The staff is fantastic! They truly care about the residents. Knowing that a trip to an ER usually results in a deterioration of the residents health, Lincoln makes every effort to bring medical treatment to the resident. I cannot emphasize how important this is for my Mom. I would HIGHLY recommend lighthouse at Lincoln to any family looking to place their loved one in a memory unit.

My Mom needed a safe place to live after her stroke, initially we found Atria in Barrington. Mom was left like a piece of furniture, they did nothing with the residents on their memory care unit. When we reported a serious safety concern as a necessary piece of safety equipment was removed from her room, they did absolutely nothing about it for hours. We moved her to the Lighthouse and couldn't be more happy with the staff and facility. They are all kind and caring and Mom is so much more content in her current life situation. Update July 2023: Still very happy with The lighthouse. After 1.5 years we have no complaints. Update 1/9/24: Still happy at Lighthouse, the staff is amazing!

The staff are great with your loved ones. The services provided in house are amazing. While the activities daily keep them busy and active. While still being able to live their own style of life they are closely monitored based on their level of needed help. Management is very nice and helpful when asking questions and if the answers are not clear they take the extra steps to find the desired answer.

They work closely with the family to ensure that the family member gets the best possible care. In addition, they offer caregiver meeting sessions that provide support to caregiver families to help them deal with the challenges of having a family member with dementia. The Lighthouse at Lincoln is easily one of the best memory care facilities in all of southern New England.

Overall, what has made it such a great experience so far is I think it comes down to their care and their empathy. The facility, food is great, but, it is the care they give my Dad, that we really appreciate. They know how to manage his behaviors and needs. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I have spent a lot of time here these past few months. Great building security and layout! One of the cleanest ALZ buildings I've been to! Friendly staff and great engagement activities provide a great experience for residents and their families. They have monthly educational events that are open to the public! Be sure to give them a call or check them out when considering finding a home for your loved one.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The Lighthouse at Lincoln is very good. They have excellent care. It's a small community. So, it's meeting my mother's needs and they've taken good care of her. The building is new. It has four separate units. So everybody isn't together in one unit, which makes it more personal. The layout and the way they provide care and activities are very good. The staff has all been very good. They all know enough and have been educated in taking care of someone with memory care issues, and they are excellent at that. The meals have been excellent, too. They have a chef that prepares all the food. They have exercise, they have farm animals come in, and they have live music where people come in and sing and play the guitar. They had a harpist come in for the holidays. They have so many activities. Then they do different other activities like making crafts for the holidays. They made all different things. It's just beautiful.

After visiting several memory care facilities and trying to find the facility that best fits our relative’s needs, we decided on the Lighthouse at Lincoln. From the day we moved into the Lighthouse, we knew we had made the right decision. As soon as you step through the doors, you are greeted with a warm welcome and bright, cheery faces from the staff, especially our friends at the front desk: Mary, Judy, and Hunter. The facility is absolutely beautiful and kept very clean. All of the residents are well taken care of, and encouraged to participate in various activities, exercise programs, and trips outside to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I want to thank the entire staff for the amazing care they provide every single day. It's important to extend a special thank you to Carla, Charlotte, Jennifer, Lindsey, and Sherry who go above and beyond in our loved one's plan of care. We also want to acknowledge the Director, Lynn, and the Resident Care Director, Diane, who both work tirelessly to ensure the needs of the residents are being met. It’s so hard to name specific staff members because they truly are all wonderful. The nursing staff consistently keeps us updated on how our relative is doing and involves us in the daily routine. They are an incredible group of people that deeply care for the residents with compassion, empathy, patience and kindness. What we imagined was going to be a difficult transition, ended up being one of the best decisions we ever made. The Lighthouse has become our relative’s new home, and the entire staff has become family. Words cannot express our gratitude. Love, The Chelo Family
