Costs

How senior living is more
affordable than you think.

We find that most are surprised at how affordable senior living can be, especially when compared to the costs of maintaining a home, or the cost of in-home help or care that might be required down the road.

When considering costs, it’s important to think about day-to-day expenses, but also the big picture: happiness, being social, independence, health and overall quality of life.

The monthly costs of living in our community encompass more than just your physical living spaces and the premium service you’ll receive.

Your monthly rent includes three nutritionally healthy (and delicious!) meals a day prepared by professional chefs, a full-calendar Engagement Program focused on providing physical exercise, educational, cultural and recreational events, complementary transportation and the joy of connecting with friends and neighbors who live just steps away.

All of this is not to mention access to personal assistance coupled with the comfort of knowing that additional, individualized care is available should you need it; the choice to socialize, relax, be active, learn something new, run an errand or entertain family and friends; the ability to rediscover the things that you’re passionate about; a chance to feel like yourself again. The list goes on!

Living in a community includes the premium services we offer, impeccable hospitality, a host of exceptional amenities and an overall increased quality of life.

What price would you put on feeling like yourself again, being surrounded by friends, enjoying meals prepared by a professional chef and doing all of the things that have made you happy throughout your life?

Tax Deductibility of Alzheimer’s Care

Many families request information regarding the tax deductibility of assisted living rent for Alzheimer’s residents. Unfortunately, because each resident’s circumstances and care needs are unique, we can’t provide specific answers. While we can’t give you specific or individual advice, we can provide you with the information and resources. As the information below indicates, if you qualify your rent may be deductible as an itemized medical expense and deductible from taxable income, to the extent it exceeds 7.5% of gross income. To determine if you qualify, we encourage you to review the enclosed material and speak with your tax adviser and/or physician. Please follow the link below.
