LCB Senior Living Celebrates the Dedication
for The Residence at Valley Farm in Ashland
80-Apartment Independent, Assisted and Memory Care Living
Community for Seniors to Open in Fall of 2015
April 2, 2015–ASHLAND, MASSACHUSETTS. LCB Senior Living, LLC (www.lcbseniorliving.com) celebrated the Dedication for The Residence at Valley Farm (www.residencevalleyfarm.com), an 80-apartment Independent, Assisted and Memory Care residence for seniors at 369 Pond Street in Ashland, MA. Attendees signed a commemorative rendering of the building, which will hang in the completed community.
The community is located in the heart of Ashland, and will feature a host of amenities and services, including an on-site gourmet restaurant that will allow residents to dine on their own schedules, comfortable living rooms and a library, media room, recreation facilities, outdoor sitting and walking areas, and many others. The community is also well-located near shopping, houses of worship, and all of the attractions that the area offers.
“Ashland is a wonderful location for us,” said LCB Chief Executive Officer Michael S. Stoller. ”The combination of natural beauty and access to all of the wonderful resources that the area has to offer is truly unparalleled.”
The project is currently in lease-up phase, and is scheduled to open later this year. Construction was funded by Berkshire Capital Partners, Prudential, and M&T Bank.
Independent Living residents at the community will have their own apartment with kitchenette and bath, along with the peace of mind of 24-hour security, three gourmet meals prepared and served restaurant style on-site, available laundry and cleaning services, a full activities program, building and grounds maintenance, and a host of optional services. Assisted Living residents will have all of the above, along with assistance with the activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing medication reminders, and other services.
The Residence at Valley Farm will also include LCB’s Reflections Memory Care services for residents with early stage Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. In addition to offering sophisticated cognitive programming and a range of daily services, Reflections is a secure, safe environment with its own common areas, walking courtyard, and other amenities.
All of the community’s programming was created in collaboration with Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
LCB Senior Living was founded in 2010 by the management team of the former Newton Senior Living, LLC (NSL). NSL was one of the first assisted living developers and operators in Massachusetts, and was the 16th-largest assisted living company in the United States when it was sold to a division of Lazard Freres in 2005. Headquartered in Norwood, MA, LCB currently operates eight communities in four New England states, and is in the process of developing seven more.
