If you remember your mother (or being a mother), you know they dole out LOTS of advice. They can’t seem to help themselves! As soon as their children are born, it’s like a wealth of knowledge is bestowed upon them, and they spend the rest of their lives sharing snippets of information and suggestions. As youngsters, many of us at times may have found all of this advice to be overbearing, but the joke is on us because many of these nuggets have stood the test of time!
Just in time for Mother’s Day, we’ve rounded up some of the sweetest, sassiest, and sagest advice that our LCB Senior Living associates – and some residents – ever got from their mothers. Many were overjoyed to pass along some of the motherly advice they’ve acquired over the years when we asked: What’s the best advice you ever got from your mother?
