My Uncle recently moved into Freeman, initially it was difficult to get him in agreement to go but he absolutely loves it! Every time we talk on the phone, he raves about how great the food is. Ani was incredibly helpful during the move-in process, making everything so seamless and easy for us. its employees like Ani that make us feel comfortable with our family members living at Freeman

Even before I walked into The Residence, the walkway and foyer were so welcoming, adorned with winter foliage and tasteful, shimmering decorations…like a winter wonderland. I found that when I entered, I was immediately greeted with 4 smiles in under a minute and a half. The beautiful cathedral ceiling lobby is a hub for gathering & conversation. A warm fire place crackled in the far corner near a beautiful bar. I enjoyed seeing residents enjoying each other’s company and beverages by the fire.
I came to do a presentation for the residents and left several hours later with such a feeling of comfort and happiness. While I was setting up my presentation, which was across from the dining room, I couldn’t help but notice the warm atmosphere of the dining area. In so many cultures, food is LOVE. The aromas of the noon time meal and the smiles on the people serving the food were noticeable. It is evident that The Residence takes great pride in the food they prepare & serve to the people who reside here. To feed someone is to love someone -I truly believe- and this made me smile as I was quietly setting up my presentation.
I got to meet many of the residents who appeared happy and well loved. I noticed how the nursing and activity staff doted on them, making sure every experience was a meaningful one. Even if it was “just” holding a hand for extended period of time.
In the four hours I was within the walls of this home, I felt much love and peace and the beauty of the art of caring.

I rarely write reviews but recently I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside the clinical team from The Residence @ Freeman Lake as an outside VNA provider, and I have been blown away at the professionalism and care their staff provide to their residents. From the kitchen department to the front line nurses and Administration the teamwork and dedication they’ve shown to ensure that quality of care matters has exceeded my expectations. I travel regularly to various communities for my work and I must say this place is truly at the top of my list. The residents are well taken care of and most importantly are happy.
I joke with the staff that they better save me a bed, I love coming to visit my Mom. It feels like a home. Great personalities and caring people- it’s what they do.
It’s the last place you want to move your parent, but this has been seamless

When it was time for my mother to start looking at facilities to live in, she was so scared and very nervous about the whole process. Choosing the residence at freeman lake was the best decision we could have possibly made for her. The staff have gone over the top to make sure she is comfortable and enjoying her new home. The director has personally gone above and beyond for us, and my mother proving how much she truly cares for these residents. The resident care director is always wanting the best for mom, and making sure she gets the correct care she needs. The whole environment of this community is everything I could ever ask for.
My family is here. They are taken care of very well. Any questions or concerns, they are addressed immediately. I wouldn’t want my family member in any other assisted living facility. The nursing director & executive director are awesome and extremely helpful. Place is very clean, the culinary experience is top notch. We never had a bad meal here. There are also many activities to enjoy in the community.

My Mom is genuinely happy here. I could cry happy tears writing this. I just received a picture of her at a concert. And then she went out to lunch with her friends. I don’t think my mother has left her home in 3 years. I don’t know how the staff there did it, but they get her out on their van, and she’s so happy to share her day with me at the end of the day. So much to tell me. We visited lots of places, the staff here sold us. They’ve continued to amaze us.
Freeman Lake was the best decision we could have made for our Mom. They have welcomed her with open arms and we have such peace of mind knowing she is safe, well cared for, and enjoying this time in her life! Mom has new friends and the socialization has been an absolute godsend. She enjoys happy hour, playing a good card game, bingo, movies in the "cozy" room as she calls it. Mom is thriving at Freeman Lake. The staff are caring, professional and very obviously take pride in what they do. Its a true "Community" and there is a comradery between the staff and the residents that resonates throughout. We are so glad we trusted the Residence at Freeman Lake with our Mom, and she is too!!
This community is one of the best ones out there! The team is authentic and that is hard to find. They are helpful & kind. The residents are always busy and the lobby is always vibrant with activity! Every time I visit there are residents talking, reading, doing exercises in the lobby! I highly recommend this community to anyone who is looking to place a loved one!

I’ve worked in healthcare for over 20 years. This community is outstanding, but what really makes the community exceptional is the outstanding leadership team and folks that work there. I have met several of them and they are incredible ambassadors for this community. They treat the residence like family members. Amazing team!!!

The Residence at Freeman Lake is really a great place. Every time I walk in the front door all the residents are smiling and happy, there is always something going on like live music in the main room or other activities. One thing I always notice is that it always smells nice and is very clean!
I've never worked with an entire team of dedicated professionals like the team I'm part of at Freeman Lake. Each one of us strives every single day to create a true Community of Residents and Associates with the same goal in mind. A great life!! Each day is a new opportunity to help someone live their best life and I couldn't be happier to be here!

I am SO GLAD Mom lives at the Residence at Freeman Lake. Not only are the staff (several of whom have been there for 5 years or more) professional and kind, the other residents are friendly and welcoming.
Mom had been home alone saying she preferred to keep to herself. However, now I always find her sitting in the lobby or dining room, clearly enjoying her interactions.
Staffing and variety of food has been an issue for sure. We understand staff shortages, but sandwiches for dinner especially with the rate increase isn't acceptable.
We moved my Mom to Freeman after a series of falls at home. The management was attentive to any questions we had during move in. I’ve always felt welcomed by the staff, the residents are even welcoming, we felt a sense of community and know this was the right place for her.
So grateful to have found Freeman Lake. Mom is very well taken care of in memory care. She needs lots of care/ attention and it’s top notch. Food is excellent. I’m there almost every night and eat there too. Great activities and the staff is absolutely wonderful. They are so kind and compassionate to all the residents. There are some very difficult families that I’ve watched demand the impossible and they still make it happen. This kind of work isn’t easy, I praise the staff!
We work closely with The Residences in providing hospice services within their community. The RCD is attentive to any of our staff that are providing care to her residents, she accurately provides care updates to our team, and is a great liaison between families, residents, doctors, and myself. We meet monthly with The ED, who also knows the residents well, and what care they would need, it’s impressive. They have catered lunches for us, and the food is top notch, the chef is friendly and drops in with treats. It’s our favorite community to visit, we laugh a lot during our visits.
I live here at the residence and am very happy with my families choice. The food is top notch and the aids are all lovely. Everyone is very helpful and amazing. The events are a good time. The other residents are friendly

Love it here!! Caitlynn has been awesome with the care of my family member in here! Caitlynn and Desiree are the best! They have made this transition easy and are so helpful when I need them. The building is very clean and people there are friendly.
I moved into Freeman Lake about 8 months ago, when I moved in I did not think my life would be getting better. I thought it was the beginning of the end. Boy was I wrong. I started walking more in the halls and did get better. The staff is impeccable. Anything I need, outside of what they offer, [name removed] and [name removed] make it happen for me. I get great meals every day and lots of opportunities to get out and do something. I’m happy to be here, my kids helped make the right choice for me
My moms nurse at this place is one of the best that I've encountered in a long time, she is compassionate, heartfelt, dedicated to her job and goes above and beyond. She truly cares about her patients. Thank you Ms. Aaryanna for all that you do for us!!!

A huge shout out to Aaryanna for helping my grandma out. I know my grandma can be difficult at times but Aaryanna can handle her. I went to visit my grandma a few weeks ago, during that time Aaryanna walked in to check up on her. Grandma was sassy and didn’t want to cooperate but Aaryanna worked around that and completed her task. Thank you Aaryanna for being patient with grandma!

I moved my cousin into this community in April. He was quickly declining living at home alone. He is thriving at Freeman Lake. He loves the activities they offer, the food is amazing, and the Staff have been so helpful during this transition. The RCD and ED are a great team and easily accessible for all questions at any hour.

Freeman is an amazing residence! The staff is wonderful, Friendly & very engaging with the residents. My mom loves the food, they keep the community engaged in activities. If my mom is sick or if she falls, they call me right away to have a discussion. If the staff does not see my mom at breakfast, they will go to her room to make sure she goes to the Café for breakfast. They bring in singers, guitarists, animals, etc. for the residents to enjoy. I cannot say enough great things about the Residences at Freeman Lake! The cost is definitely high but it is not the most expensive that I visited. I highly, highly recommend the Residences at Freeman Lake!
The best place for your mom depends on her interests, needs, and preferences. Consider factors like safety, healthcare, social opportunities, and proximity to family. This company has allowed for my family to feel at ease about our mother transitioning over to an assisted living thank you for what they do.
Once we visited The Residence based on The cleanliness of the facility, bright ness of the facility, seeing the activities that was taking place, eating what the residents were eating, smiles and greetings from the staff to the residents just gave us a feeling of safety and caring.They are kind and compassionate to their residents.
