I am very happy with our experience at The Residence at Silver Square, although the cost is expensive. But I would recommend it to others looking for assisted living.

I visited this facility The Residence at Silver Square was a refreshing place. It's relatively new and it's very bright. They seemed to have a warm, welcoming feeling when I went in. The people were very cordial and the people at the desk as you go in were quite inviting. The woman who took me around was very good. The food was impressive. They have a philosophy there. They take a lot of pride in their food. That's the one thing that they talked quite a bit about. They have a lot of flexibility on when residents can go to eat, so they're not locked into only a certain time of day when they can go to get their lunch or dinner. They talked about the quality of the chefs and cooks that provide the food and the location seemed very clean. Everything I could tell in terms of the food seemed to be positive. They even gave me a blueberry cake when I left. They had several activities that were interesting in terms of looking at the descriptions, anything from yoga to knitting to physical activities of different sorts. The facilities were very nice. The only fault they have is it's a fairly expensive place. It might be out of my mother's price range.

It has been a very positive experience for all involved. The staff is wonderful. Food is good, facilities clean, the activities are plentiful. It feels like a family and everyone is part of it. I would recommend The Residence at Silver Square to anyone.

Our friend is very pleased with The Residence at Silver Square community. The activities are very well suited to the community. The meals and dining service gets 5+ stars. They serve really excellent food - they have such a nice variety to pick from at every meal. It is pretty much like restaurant dining. Based on our experience we would highly recommend this community to other families.

The Residence provided everything that my loved one needed. He was there for two & a half months, and his illnesses worsened. He passed 12/31. The care the staff provided went above and beyond. They all worked so very well with the Hospice nurses that we didn't have to move him to a higher level of care. He remained safe and was made very comfortable in the end.

The staff at the facility is very friendly and caring. The housekeeping comes once a week, and they do the laundry for the residents. The residents are able to have cars if they would like. They do have yearly increases on rent. The food services are really good, they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. They do have activities they have weekly schedules and daily specials.

We toured with The Residence at Silver Square. It wasn't the right place for Mom. They showcased the dining experience but Mom was only able to eat puréed food and the facility was very large and expensive.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND: After spending 19 months in a facility on Lafayette in Rye NH and post acquisition of a large corporation where patients/residents are monetarily valued only, coupled with observing a steep decline in continuity of care and safety, I moved my mom into The Residence at Silver Square (August 22). Within weeks, my moms cognitive baseline increased and her level of anxiousness decreased dramatically. As a brilliant retired nurse, I finally saw her less anxious and much happier after the move. She feels safe and well loved in her new home, as she should. Making the decision to physically move my mom after months elsewhere, was heart-wrenching, the change was not for me but for her. No regrets whatsoever! The clinical and executive staff are amazing at Silver Square!! I'm more than happy to speak with anyone considering moving their loved ones into The Residence at Silver Square, my perspective is an interesting one after spending so much time at one 'business' and witnessing first hand as caregiver and family member the dramatic deterioration after the procurement of what was known as Evolve Memory Care @ Rye.

We picked this community, because of the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of facility, and dining room. Also, we liked the flexibilit, the activity options and closeness /proximity to town. My loved one, felt cared for and that he mattered.

This was one of the best decision we made. Our loved ones are thriving in the community. The staff attention has helped our loved ones settle into the community. The staff communication has been excellent with the family. They have been good at keeping us updated on concerns, questions, and have been responsive to our questions. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they have choices to choose from and snacks are provided. The community allows private dining to be scheduled with our loved ones, and the food has been delicious, fancy, and amazing when we have engaged with this! The community provides activities for the residents to participate in. There are outings, church services, exercises, yoga, and more for the residents to engage with. The community also provides a monthly calendar to the residents for activities. In the memory care unit there are hourly checks on the residents by the staff.

My loved one was there a short period of time. They need to be a lot more clear upfront, on what they can and cannot do, as it relates to the level of care that is needed for your loved one. They need to do a better job of explaining things. Overall, it was not a great experience, until hospice stepped in to help my loved one. The staff was better after hospice arrived.

I visited this facility We toured The Residence at Silver Square and the studio that they had was very small. We could not see any one or two bedrooms, which we were interested in, because they only have 2 two bedroom suites. The staff was very friendly. They have flower arranging activities, book club, cards, and bingo. The food was fine.

We really like how clean and new the community is, it is just the right perfect size for our loved one. It is not to small and not to large. We have had some challenges with communication and coordinating all the medical providers and schedule. At times it seems like everyone is all over the place and isn't sure who is in charge of what. It has caused some frustration so that could be improved, but based on the experience we have had so far with The Residence we would recommend them to other families..

The first thing that stood out to our family was how welcoming it was, it has a very homey environment. Our loved one does not always participate in the activities but they do a really good job trying to encourage her to get involved.

I visited this facility The first place I toured was The Residence at Silver Square. It seemed to be a very well-managed place with wonderful dining facilities. I met with the general manager. She gave me the tour. The rooms were, I thought, somewhat small with not a lot of places for clothing, but the dining facilities were unbelievable. You could order anything, steak or shrimp or whatever you wish to have, at any time of day. I briefly met the chef who was very polite as well. They had many activities available for those that could participate. They have crafts, physical therapy, and so forth. It was wonderful, but the practice was just totally out of my range. For that reason, I thought it was not something that I could participate in. The facility itself was beautiful. The lobby, when you walk in, was like a palace.

My dad lived here for just over a year and a half through what was arguably one of the most difficult times for any person , but especially hard on an elderly person…COVID. The care he was provided throughout was top notch. It was such a home for him that we all enjoyed visiting. The decor was beautiful, the food was AMAZING, the staff…so engaged, friendly and professional! It was one of the most difficult decisions to put my dad in an assisted living but with advanced Parkinson’s, he required too much care for us all at home. We looked at MANY places before choosing Silver Square…the gauge was, “would I live here”…and without a doubt…yes I would. Sadly my dad passed away in early June. I can say that without a doubt, he was in the right place…he told me the day before he passed that we chose the right place and how very happy he was that he was there. We were able to stay with him throughout his transition and were treated so well by the entire staff… we got a hands on view of the care our dad received and the love from his aids was so evident. He had a wonderful extended family there. We can never thank the staff enough for loving our dad. I will miss seeing everyone including the wonderful residents I met throughout our stay.💗💗💗

Silver Square is a very special place that made my dad blossom in the last two years of his life. Every person on the staff in all departments is incredibly kind and caring. They can be as social as they want. The facilities are great, help for anything is readily available, as well as therapies for residents. I was particularly pleased that as my dad left independent status to assisted living, he didn’t have to move to another room. The nurses are outstanding, top-notch and communication with families is good. I’m so happy my dad was part of the Silver Square community!

We chose this community because of the location, but more importantly the feel when I walked into the facility. The kindness of everyone I bumped into was amazing. We know one of the residents and she said that kindness is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of this Silver Sqaure. The food here is good, there is a lot of variety. The room sizes are beautiful. The apartment bedroom that my parents have is bigger than the bedroom in their previous home. Our favorite part about this facility is the staff and knowing that things are being taken care of. They are very communicative and always have my parents best interest in mind.

When we have visited in the past, it seems as though someone is always wiping things down, repainting, and the community is immaculate. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they have been doing a really good job with sanitizing everything that comes into the community. In the year we have worked with them, the staff has always been very polite and they have gone out of their way to connect with the residents. The staff even included my parent's dog in the community's birthday celebrations, which really shows how much they care. My father turned 90 during the lock down and they worked with us to hold a drive by parade so we could have a socially distanced celebration for him. They have gotten very creative during the pandemic to keep the residents entertained while they are on lock down. They have really tried to tailor things to each of the residents' personality. When we initially decided to move my parent's here, the engagement team set up raised flower beds because they enjoy gardening so much. The Residence At Silver Square is expensive, however we do think it is worth it!

We have been very pleased with the staff and community. The staff all know my mother-in-law and they really seem to watch out for the residents. They are taking care of my mother-in-law very well. The dinning accommodations are excellent and they offer a good variety of options and the food itself good quality. Particularly with the Covid-19 pandemic, they have done a good job with communicating with us regularly about what's going on and what they are doing to protect the residents. They also send regular updates about ongoing activities in the community. For everything they do, it is worth the price.

Let’s see, the things that impressed me when my Mum became a resident on June 30, 2019 are: *A facility that at the time was only a year old and spotlessly clean. *A very friendly, outgoing, caring and cooperative house staff and maintenance staff. *The in-house director of resident care and her staff of LNA’s *Beautiful apartments with a kitchenette, bath, ample closet space, living area and bedroom. *A very welcoming sales staff which reviewed the facility, programs, media room, activity room, exercise area, and of course the dining area which is open from 7AM till 7PM. I must add that the executive chef serves up wonderful meals, not at all like some senior living homes that serve institutional meals. *I’ve already mentioned the house staff and need to mention the dining room and kitchen staff as well. My brothers and I know most staff members by name and they likewise know each of us by name. *Also the activity director and her staff do a great job of organising bus trips, games, and art projects for the residents. *Management also has kept everyone up to date about things that we should know about that is going on not only at the Residence At Silver Square but at other LCB residences as well. *Most importantly, the entire team, all staff members, directors, corporate folks have done an outstanding job keeping not only my Mum safe but every resident. *A special shout out goes to Rene, Monique, Pat, Seth, Kevin, and all of the associates for running first class departments. When my Mum moved in I told her she was going to live in a resort hotel. She was reluctant to agree with me at first and was afraid that she was moving into a prison. By the second or third day she had come around to what I had been telling her. *Most of all I’d like to thank *everyone* for keeping all the residents and staff safe during this insidious COVID-19 pandemic. KIND … that’s what comes to mind when I think of The Residence at Silver Square. Since moving to Dover from their life-long home, my parents have been surrounded by the most kind, positive and welcoming residents and staff. Our accolades for Silver Square are numerous: Food – healthy, appealing, varied, plentiful, available 7-7; it’s definitely not institutional. It’s so wonderful to enjoy a meal with my parents. Care – positive, personal and attentive; professional medical care and promptly addressed concerns Activities – varied, stimulating, and abundant (5-8 planned activities a day!). Activities are tailored to resident interests. Staff take time to personally invite residents to participate in engagement activities. My parents look forward to local musicians, flower arranging, and school children visits. I even get pictures of them emailed to me! Access - van service to church services, shopping and doctors’ appointments, arranged outings; meticulously kept grounds for daily walks and naps on the porch (even in the wintertime) Atmosphere – bright, open, inviting spaces, impeccably clean; looks like it just opened! Staff – AMAZING!!!! They are so KIND and personable. They make residents and families feel special. THE STAFF ENJOY THEIR JOBS! Pets -They embrace residents having pets. My parents have a dog which has helped make a smooth transition. The staff even have treats for their dog! Accepting – The residents readily welcome newcomers. Day after day I see different people sitting together. There are no cliques, just a group of adults who genuinely enjoy each other’s presence. This is not a 1970's nursing home; it is a vibrant community of elders who are active and looked after by a wonderful caring staff. The Residence at Silver Square is a 5-star community! I would highly recommend it!

After researching Assisted Living Residences in Central and Southern NH for a month my wife and I began traveling throughout the state to check in person from among the top prospective new homes for my 94 yr old Mother, who had been living independently in her home in a small rural NH town. Not only was the Residence At Silver Square brand new, but from the moment we walked inside the door and were greeted by the Sales and Marketing Director, I felt that I had walked into the right place. I’ve told the story over and over, there’s only one opportunity to make a good first impression and the R@SS made just that. It was like a resort hotel with its amenities, pristinely clean, and the dining was like none of the others, which ranged from institutional to very limited in both selections from a couple specials and hours in which residents can make use of the facilities. The R@SS offers a full menu with a half dozen options plus specials. The Dining Room is also open from 7AM-7PM. My Mother’s nutrition has improved exponentially in the six plus months which she has been living there. The entire staff has gone overboard in caring for Mum and we cannot thank them enough. There are a full range of activities from exercise classes to games, social activities, films, lectures, concerts, bus tours, beauty salon, private dining areas for family visits, outdoor gardens with walkways, and happy hour get togethers in their Bistro. The Resident Care has been very helpful to her and I regularly tell Mum that she has grown 6” in height from being helped to stand straight and put on weight (a good thing). My Mother has never been a very social woman, although she has always been well liked. At the R@SS she has come to know most if not all of the other residents. There are no reserved tables in the dining room and everyone mingles together. My brothers and I are regular visitors and we are greeted by name throughout the residence by other residents as well as by staff. Also important to us was that the cost of an apartment at the R@SS was in the middle range of the homes that we sampled. Without hesitation I give it five stars and would recommend it to anyone looking for Assisted Living.

$6,885.00/Semi-Private / $7,920.00/Studio Open 1 1/2 years - Tour [date removed] 2pm 16 mi / 24 min They have one studio. I really liked this place. Their Memory care director ([name removed]) was so enthusically joyful. I meet with [name removed]. She spent a lot of time helping me to see that moving mom to a memory care facility is the right thing for her as well as for me. The studio was nice and spacious, the building was light and cheerful. They were respectful with the tenant who needed help "finding her car keys". Gave me the idea to tell mom the facility is associated with hers and she's just coming for the winter to make it easier for me to visit.

My Mum has now been living at The Residence At Silver Square, in Dover, NH for going on to three months. She is healthier and happier than when she left her beloved home of forty years. Her nutrition has improved by a number that is off the charts. The physical therapy is better than what was provided when she was at home. She has made many friends and has become active within the community. The dining room is open from 7:00am to 7:00pm and there are more than half a dozen choices for each meal, plus ‘specials’. The facility is only 11/2 years old and Mum’s one bedroom apartment had never been occupied before her. What else? The staff is professional, happy to help out in any way, and all seem to enjoy where they work and work very effectively with the residents and their families.
