My mother became a resident 6 months ago. She was very unsure and nervous. My mom has blossomed here. From day one everyone knows her name and welcomed her with open arms. They draw her into each activity and make sure she is well taken care of.Larry cracks her up and we love his humor and compassion. All the staff are wondeful!
What a wonderful place to work! The residents are like family and I'm happy to call the associates not only my co-workers, but my friends. I'm grateful to work for a company that fully supports the engagement program and prides itself on offering the BEST opportunities for our residents to continue to thrive, learn, grow and have the most fun doing while it. Our Thursday happy hours are the best around and there's no other place I'd rather be on a Thursday at 2:30pm.
It will be 4 months since I got hired and I love the way they treat the residents as their top priority, the house keeping is amazing, and it's rewarded to have met them all and my pleasure in being able to give great care and service, as for managers and bosses I am happy to say that Mrs. Tina works her best ability for the residents and employees. I am happy to work here, and Mrs. Julie is an amazing nurse, as well as nurse Mia , Mrs. Janet. HR on the other hand can answer any questions and concerns because they are willing to help, also my mentors that trained me are still willing to answer any questions, they were amazing. Harriet and Kelly were my mentors. While the great Aid's, Ella, anez, and Jenifer, thank you ladies for all!!!. Also can't forget the Med Tech's, Mrs. Nia, Ms. Tia, Ms. Nordia. Also everyone at the front desk is amazing even with the kitchen department, I love it here.

Wonderful staff !!! Pleasure to work with Tina and Lilly. Have enjoyed working with the staff. There are many activities for the residents and the residents are well cared for.
My mom has been there for 6 weeks. The staff there are extremely nice. They have activities and trips everyday. The residence is kept very clean.
We love The Residence at Voorhees! This facility provides wonderful care to its residents. The facility is very clean, staff is very friendly and just an overall great environment!
I would not hesitate to recommend this community to anyone interested in its services. We chose this community because of the communication with the Sales Manager , [name removed] and the way she tirelessly answered all of our questions and concerns. They also have a great system for transition from rehab to permanent residence.
When choosing an assistant living community, it’s so important to choose the right one. The Residence of Voorhees community was clean and rooms were nicely spaced.
Josephine, the Director of Sales, was extremely helpful.
She was attentive, compassionate, and understanding. She explained everything; I felt like I mattered. She was absolutely wonderful. If you’re ever in need of an assistant living community, start your search there. You will be happy you did.

I moved my mother there six months ago and could not be happier.
The staff are so caring and upbeat. The atmosphere is one of positivity and nurturing. My cousin is thriving. Cheryl is an exceptional, director who is extremely hands on. She doesn’t shy away from interacting with residents. Her care and affection for them is evident. They are lucky to have her.
Our loved one is still adjusting but so far we have found the staff and the residents there to be very nice. The staff are very caring and really do seem interested in our loved ones well being. The facility itself is very nice and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to other families.
The activities are wonderful, the activities coordinator [name removed] is wonderful to work with. All of the staff members are very responsive to any questions or concerns we may have. They treat all of the residents with respect and we could not be happier. We would recommend The Residence at Voorhees to other families.
This is a superb facility. My brother-in-law has been there for about four months now and is very happy in his apartment, with the food and, most importantly, the kind, helpful regard with which he is treated. Staff and residents are very friendly and offer a warm, caring and family-like setting within which each resident is nurtured and individually valued. We feel very lucky to have found this place.
I visited this facility
The Residence at Voorhees was clean and nice. The dining area was decent. They have studios and one-bedroom apartments (the one-bedroom has a little kitchenette). The woman who gave us a tour was also nice. They do poker nights, yoga, Taichi, taking them out once a week for a nice ride in the van, and all things that my dad would be interested in. They have something going on every day.
It's just that everything is a la carte, so you have to pay for everything. Like if I needed somebody to give my dad's meds or assist him to the dining room or get his clothes washed, I have to pay for that. The only thing that was included in the monthly was the room and board, the meals, and the washing of his linens.
I toured this community. It was beautiful. The staff was caring and compassionate. They answered all of my questions!
The Residence of Voorhees is a caring and warm environment. The staff is so patient and they truly care for the residents. I was so nervous having my mother go into a facility but after seeing how they treat my mother and how much she loves all her aids I know it was the right decision. My mother has her little apartment and is definitely treated like family not another patient. My mother is also also bragging about the food they serve. The Residence is a wonderful place. It is beautiful, clean and has such a warm homey feel . My Mother loves the food & the staff . No matter what time you go you will be greeted by happy, residents that are engaged in activities and are very social. I have not met an employee that has not been kind, caring & helpful from the front desk, office Management, nursing, aides, to kitchen or maintenance. Thank you Residence for all you do! There are many assisted living facilities, but none can compare to your compassion.
Our Dad, Al McDonald (Coach) was loved and cared about every day of his two years here. The staff was professional, respectful and loving. We could not have asked for a better second home. It is an environment of encouragement, joy and an atmosphere of family. We are forever thankful.
My dad lived at the residence for over two years until he passed away a few weeks ago at 95 years of age. For the past two years he considered everyone in there his family and he loved the place. I’ve never seen him happier.There was always things to do and always a smiling face when he needed it. They treat everyone like family and the people that work there are unbelievable. Not only are they very professional but they are very caring human beings. If I had to do it all over again there’s no other place on earth I would rather him be he often raved how good the food was and nothing made my sisters and I happier than when we called him and said I can’t talk now we’re so busy doing stuff. My things to the entire staff for how well they treated my dad. If you are thinking about having a parent enter an assisted living home this is the place to be
The Residence at Voorhees is an amazing assisted living facility to send your loved ones. The staff are wonderful! Every interaction I've had with different members of the staff have been pleasant. They go above and beyond to handle the needs of the residents and their families. Transitioning a loved one into assisted living is a difficult decision. The staff gave me and my mother peace of mind and solidified that this was the right choice. She could not receive better care anywhere else!!
After visiting many places, we chose Atria/Residence at Voorhees. We spent a lot of time there with our mother and enjoyed getting to know the staff. Tina is truly amazing as well as the other managers and the entire staff. Any questions we ever had were answered immediately. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The environment was very pleasant. Our mother always loved people and the constant attention and interaction from Tina, all the managers, and the entire staff was so positive for her. We would highly recommend Atria/Residence at Voorhees.
I’m very excited to leave a review! I’m a new employee. Housekeeping. I started working at the residence about two months and a half ago. And I must say, I have nothing but praise for the staff and residents. The Residence At Voorhees is a Beautiful place. Both inside as well as outside.
Everything is well organized.
And the furniture recently got upgraded and it all looks just magnificent. Gorgeous.
The director, Tina, is very professional yet polite and loving. Couldn’t ask for anyone better to be the Director.
My supervisor Ron works with total professionalism. He’s also very polite and caring.
And the meals that come out of the kitchen are of restaurant quality. Very scrumptious.
Every Thursday entertainers entertain all the residents and it’s quite the ride. Bravo.

Amazing staff that show tremendous care and thoughtfulness for my mom. It gives my family such peace and comfort knowing that my mom is so well cared for. They have treated my family as part of the community since our first meeting together
Every time I visit everyone is so polite and friendly. The residents always are happy. Recently one of their managers moved up into the ED position and we could not be happier. Her and her staff are always there if we need anything!
